- Entry is openGuatemala is now open for most international travel, following the entry protocols. Arrivals without test certificate will be tested on the airport. Guatemala will allow foreigners who have evidence that they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 at least two weeks before arrival in Guatemala and have received two doses (one dose if vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine), Guatemalan nationals, diplomats or foreign nationals who are legal residents in the countryPrior to arrival restrictions.Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if you need visa and apply.Negative COVID-19 test prior to arrival. Anyone arriving to Guatemala will be required to present negative PCR test results, or antigen test results, no older than 72 hours.Health form is required for all arrivals.
